These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, student portal, e-learning platform, and related services ("Services") operated by TINPET College of Professionals Limited ("TINPET," "we," "us," or "our"), a professional education institution registered in Nigeria.
By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of our Services.
1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TINPET College of Professionals Limited. They apply to all visitors, prospective students, enrolled students, alumni, partners, and any other persons who access or use our Services.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services or enrol in any programme.
If you are accessing our Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Your continued use of the Services after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2 Use of Our Website
You agree to use our website lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional material, spam, or chain letters.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, server, or database connected to it.
Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious or harmful programs or material.
Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the website.
Harvest, collect, or use any information about other users without their consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these usage rules at our sole discretion.
3 Enrolment & Admission
Enrolment in TINPET programmes is subject to the following conditions:
All information provided during the application and registration process must be accurate, complete, and truthful.
TINPET reserves the right to verify all submitted credentials and reject applications that contain false or misleading information.
Acceptance into a programme is not guaranteed and is at TINPET's sole discretion.
Enrolment is only confirmed upon receipt of the required programme fee and completion of the registration process.
TINPET reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any programme with reasonable notice to enrolled students.
Providing false credentials or academic documents is grounds for immediate expulsion and may be reported to relevant authorities.
4 Fees & Payment
The following terms govern programme fees and payment:
Programme fees are published on our website and are subject to change. The fee applicable at the time of enrolment confirmation applies.
All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise specified. International payment options may be available.
Payments must be made through our official payment channels. TINPET is not responsible for payments made to unauthorised accounts.
Instalment payment plans may be available for certain programmes; specific terms will be communicated at enrolment.
A receipt will be issued for every confirmed payment. Please retain your receipt for your records.
Non-payment of fees by the specified deadline may result in suspension of access to programme materials and examinations.
5 Refund Policy
TINPET's refund policy is as follows:
Before Programme Commencement: A full refund less an administrative processing fee of 10% will be issued if cancellation is made at least 14 days before the programme start date.
7–13 Days Before Start: A 50% refund of the total programme fee will be processed.
Less than 7 Days / After Commencement: No refund will be issued. You may, however, request a deferral to the next available cohort subject to approval.
Programme Cancellation by TINPET: If TINPET cancels a programme, a full refund will be issued within 14 working days.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to tinpetcollege@gmail.com. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14–21 working days.
6 E-Learning Platform
Access to TINPET's e-learning platform is subject to these additional terms:
Platform access is granted to enrolled students for the duration of the programme only, unless otherwise stated.
Login credentials are personal and non-transferable. You must not share your login details with any third party.
You may not record, screenshot, download, redistribute, or share any course materials without TINPET's explicit written permission.
TINPET does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform and will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of scheduled maintenance.
TINPET reserves the right to update, modify, or withdraw course content at any time to maintain quality and accuracy.
7 Intellectual Property
All content on our website and e-learning platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, course materials, slide decks, assessments, and software — is the exclusive property of TINPET College of Professionals Limited or its content licensors and is protected by applicable Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.
You may view and print materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, transmit, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any content without prior written consent from TINPET.
The TINPET name, logo, tagline "Where Competence Meets Credibility," and all related marks are trademarks of TINPET College of Professionals Limited. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.
Any infringement of TINPET's intellectual property rights will be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
8 Student Conduct
All students are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic and professional integrity. The following constitute grounds for disciplinary action, suspension, or expulsion:
Academic Dishonesty: Plagiarism, cheating in assessments, falsification of work, or any form of academic fraud.
Impersonation: Attempting to sit examinations, submit assignments, or access the platform on behalf of another student.
Harassment: Any form of bullying, harassment, discrimination, or threatening behaviour towards staff, faculty, or fellow students.
Misuse of Platform: Using TINPET systems for unlawful purposes, commercial exploitation, or distribution of harmful content.
Reputational Harm: Making false, defamatory, or malicious statements about TINPET, its staff, or programmes in any public forum.
TINPET reserves the right to expel any student found in breach of these conduct standards without a refund of fees paid.
9 Certifications
TINPET awards certificates upon successful completion of programmes subject to the following:
Certificates are issued only to students who meet all programme requirements, including assessments, assignments, and attendance (where applicable).
TINPET certificates are issued in the name as provided at enrolment. Amendments to names post-issuance will incur an administrative fee.
Certificates remain the intellectual property of TINPET and may be revoked in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or serious misconduct.
TINPET does not guarantee that its certifications will be recognised by any specific employer, government body, or third party. Students are responsible for verifying recognition with the relevant entity.
Digital certificate verification is available via TINPET's official verification portal.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
TINPET shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.
TINPET does not warrant that the website or e-learning platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total programme fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
TINPET is not responsible for any loss of data, career outcomes, employment decisions made in reliance on our certifications, or results from third-party accreditation bodies.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11 Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of our Services, the following process applies:
Informal Resolution: You must first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting TINPET in writing at tinpetcollege@gmail.com. We will endeavour to resolve any complaint within 30 working days.
Mediation: If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
Litigation: Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
12 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts, specifically those situated in Lagos State.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
13 Amendments
TINPET reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

Notify enrolled students of significant changes via email.
Post a prominent notice on our website for material changes.
Your continued use of our Services after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
